Baby Roarie

Every child receives free baby Roarie, when they register at any one of our nurseries and we find that children instantly adore him. Baby Roarie is cute, cuddly and adorable. As Roarie is on display all around the nursery, in reception, on pictures, displays and literature, we aim to build recognition and familiarisation between Roarie and the nursery. This helps young children when they first come to the nursery as they are seeing a familiar face which is comforting and reassuring for them.

Travelling Roarie

Roarie is the world’s friendliest and most travelled of lions.

He loves to travel in the Uk and abroad so children are invited to take him home for weekends, or to take him away on holiday

with them. So far this year he has been fortunate enough to have visited Santa in Lapland, flown a plane with the pilot to Lanzerote, been boarding with a surf pro on the Cornish waves, climbed up Snowdonia with a rambling club, had a date with mini mouse in Disney land and gone down under for a whole months travel experience!

Each nursery has a world map on display and on return from holiday the children are invited to add their photo with Roarie to the board.

This helps children with one of their early learning goals knowledge and understanding of the world. It also helps them develop recognition of different cultures and the different ways of life that exist in different areas of the world.

Big Roarie

We also have Big Roarie who visits our nursery children regularly!

He comes to see us if we have a trip out to the park or he comes along to helps us with our recycling, or to join in with a new activity we are enjoying. You can guarantee he will be at nursery if we are having a party!

He is well known around the local community as he loves raising money for local charities and there is nothing more Roarie loves than to give something back back to the community.

Look out for Roarie, he really is a local celebrity!
